Tracegrow about the climate transition: a threat, a responsibility but also a business opportunity

-- Tatu Tukholmassa (Tatu_Tukholmassa.jpg)

Tracegrow was offered a spot in a seminar focusing on the topic that is getting increasingly important for all of us, whether we are aware of it or not: Climate transition. Transition has a potential in changing the world drastically both from the ecological and the economical point of view and unfortunately to the worse. Why? That question brings us back to the three topics covered in the title.

Threat

In many cases climate transition is making living conditions in a places where those are already challenging, more challenging or even unbearable thus potentially causing severe distress in a form of extreme weather conditions or in most drastic cases mass relocation needs…and that is just one of the threats.

Business opportunity

While there is nothing positive about the climate transition as phenomena, fighting against the climate transition creates a wide array of business opportunities particularly for countries and organizations which have access to a higher education and are innovative and good at simplifying complex tasks in order to bring out high quality solutions in a short period of time.

Responsibility

To combat something as profound as climate transition is clearly a responsibility and also the benefit of all the nations. Having said that, it is understandable that the different countries and organizations have different kind of possibilities to influence. That was highlighted also in the interview study conducted in conjunction to this seminar, which summarized the biggest contribution from Nordic region and its companies to be:

  • Showing global leadership
  • Promoting cooperation between the countries
  • Spreading innovations
  • Exporting solutions
  • Being a role model

"I am pleased to be able to say that Tracegrow together with the Finnish Government, whose target is to make Finland as one of the leading countries in the world regarding the circular economy, are doing exactly those things and thus strongly promoting the fight against the climate transition," says Tatu Leppänen, the CEO of Tracegrow.
